Goods Inwards Inspector
Our client, a leading manufacturer, are looking to hire a Goods Inwards Inspector to join their team on a 3 - 6 month contract. For the chance to join a company known for their high standards and investment in their staff read on.
To ensure the effective and efficient inspection of incoming raw materials to controlled specifications and test methods.
Inspection of incoming raw materials, following appropriate test methods to ensure raw materials conform to required specifications.
Identify where new or changed routines could improve efficiency and/or effectiveness without detriment to material quality.
Generation of raw materials specifications and maintenance of such libraries and ensuring availability of approved raw material libraries.
Accurate release or rejection of incoming goods that are subject to goods inward inspection and maintenance of such records.
Managing the NPI raw material rejection system, to ensure that reject reports (and other raw material quality concerns) are effectively communicated to suppliers and responses from suppliers are monitored.
Identify regular raw material quality issues caused by suppliers and effectively communicate data to management.
Follow company Health and Safety protocol and work to company GMP standards.
Liaising and communicating with departments throughout the company to ensure smooth running of all operations. Where appropriate, liaise with suppliers on issues of product quality on both rejection and vendor caution issues.
Our client are looking to hire a conscientious and hardworking individual who is numerate and literate with an understanding of electronic communication and database systems.
Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience would be preferred as would experience completing documentation and specifications in regards to quality.
