Our client is a large and established company based near Wrexham. On their behalf we are recruiting for an accounts assistant with purchase ledger experience. This role presents a first-class opportunity to progress working with a friendly team!
Weekly bank reconciliation
Maintaining accurate purchase ledger for the business
Weekly supplier payment run
Conversing with suppliers regarding payments and keeping record of communications
Checking supplier invoices against purchase orders
Working closely with the Operations department
To authorise invoices and confirm that they are reflected accurately in purchase orders
To monitor progress on queried invoices
Inputting supplier invoices
Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in assessing accurate project costs
The candidate will have the following skills.
Experience of working as a purchase ledge or accounts assistant
Driven with a positive attitude to work
A good understanding of excel
